Welcome to The Historical Machinery Club of Tasmania inc.

All things vintage machinery.

Our meeting rooms are in Penguin, our membership is around 175 statewide.
We meet at 7.30 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month (except January) at our meeting rooms in Park Avenue, Penguin. (Click this link for a map)

With the COVID-19 restrictions all club events are put on hold, but we have now started having meetings in the open at the clubrooms. These are being held on Saturday instead of the usual Tuesday evening. If you would like an update on when and where the meetings are please contact John Booth.

The AGM will be held Saturday September 5th at 1.30pm outdoors at the clubrooms at Penguin.

To contact the club about your event please contact our Event Co-ordinator: John Booth, 100 Madden St, Devonport 7320. 0417 228 247

The largest portion of our members are in the north west but we have a committed group of members in the north east as well as in southern Tasmania. We are a diverse group of people with many different interests but all have one thing in common, the love of old machinery. We exhibit at most local shows as well as many other events around the state.

Do you have something you would like to have added to this website? An interesting link? A story to tell? Photos of your restoration? Then please contact us. Your contribution and suggestion is greatly appreciated.
